Christmas Traditions In Bordentown City, NJ
Christmas in Bordentown starts early and with the help of countless volunteers and local businesses. This past year the tree was generously donated by the Chesterfield Christmas Tree Farm and to date this was the largest tree we have ever had!
I got a tip about when and where the tree was going to be cut down so I headed over and met some of our great Bordentown City workers as they cut down the tree and brought it to our town to get ready for our annual tree lighting.
Old City Hall Train Show sponsored by The Old City Hall Committee is presented by Mayor Joe Malone, Commissioner and Mrs. Zig Targonski, Mikki Quinn and Bob Liberman. Admission is free and will be open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in December from 3-8PM.Here you see a Candyland display owned by Mikki Quinn.
Santa Claus came to the Bordentown Tree Lighting to turn the lights on the tree on Saturday, Nov. 30th.The Bordentown City’s Annual Tree Lighting Celebration was brought to everyone by Bordentown City, Bordentown Home For Funerals, Under The Moon Cafe, Square Peg Round Hole Gallery and the Chesterfield Tree Farm.
