2nd Annual Bordentown 5K Turkey Trot and Family Fun Walk in Bordentown Township, Deirdre Ryan P

The Foundation for Bordentown Traditions is a non-profit started by members of the community. They were organized to plan, develop, organize and fund community events in Bordentown. It is their goal that these events will raise funds to bring back the Fireworks. I am proud to also be a volunteer member of this organization.

The 2nd Annual Bordentown 5K Turkey Trot and Family Fun Walk was in Bordentown Township on Saturday Nov. 23, 2013. The event was put together by Foundation for Bordentown Traditions. The event had approximately 400 participants, (last year was 204).

I saw a lot of friends running that day, it was a great event.

I asked Bordentown Township’s Mayor,  Stephen Benowitz, to take a photo of me. Like most people, he’s much taller than I am. I use Think Tank gear to haul my Canon equipment.
